What is Mop Head Craft?
This craft is the art of transforming ordinary mop heads into decorative objects that can be used to add a touch of whimsy to your home decor. With a little bit of creativity and some basic crafting supplies. You can turn a simple head into a cute and quirky plant holder, a fun and functional doorstop, or a charming wreath to adorn your front door.
How is it Done?
To create your own, you’ll need a few basic supplies, including:
- M. heads
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Paint (optional)
- Decorative embellishments (optional)
I buy most of my products from the dollar tree store. Here you can see products in the online dollar tree store. Maybe there are things you like.
Once you have your supplies, you can start by disassembling the mop head by removing the handle and cutting away any excess material. From there, you can use your creativity to transform the head into whatever object you desire, whether it be a fun and funky plant holder or a whimsical wreath for your front door.

My Previous Experiences
As someone who likes to process and recycle old materials. I’ve had a lot of fun experimenting with crafts over the years. One of my favorite projects involved turning an old mop head into a cute and functional doorstop by stuffing it with some old rags and sewing it shut. I also love creating plant holders by cutting a hole in the center of the mop head and inserting a small plant pot.
